Berlin, Germany August 30th, 2012 – Liquid Image will demonstrate its Apex HD+ Camera Snow Goggle with built in Wi-Fi capabilities during the ShowStoppers Press event August 30th 2012 preceding the opening of the IFA Show in Berlin. The Liquid Image Camera line is distributed in Germany by HAMA and will be on display in IFA Hall 10.2/101.

The latest Camera Goggle for snow sports has the HD capabilities of the previous Liquid Image Goggles plus it has built in Wi-Fi transmission to smart devices. No bulky Wi-Fi attachments are required. The Apex HD+ connects to an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet with the use of an App which can be downloaded for free through iTunes or Google Play.  When the product begins shipping this fall, the Liquid Image Support page will offer video demonstrations on how to connect your device to the camera. Once connected to the app, the Apex HD+ can stream live view as well as transfer and view recorded files.  The app can act as a remote control and adjust settings on the Camera Goggle.

In addition to Wi-Fi, the goggle has a 12.0MP camera mode and a video mode that records HD1080P Video at a rate up to 30 frames per second as well as the High Action mode of HD720P video at a rate up to 60 frames per second. This new model also features a continuous shot photo mode.

The Apex HD+ goggle features a rotating lens to capture the best angle while snowboarding, skiing or snowmobiling.  The user can check the angle captured using a smart device and lock in their optimum position with the hidden lock that is located behind the face foam.

This model has easy to access buttons along the side strap and a light indicator inside the goggle to signal the user of the mode and operation. An Audible beep adds additional feedback while on the go. The battery and memory compartments are also positioned along the side for a sleek goggle frame design. The Apex HD+ ships with an extra lens, an alternate strap, a micro bag and a USB cable. The camera can hold a Micro SDHC card up to 32GB. Additional lenses, straps and replacement face foam will be sold separately as accessories.

The Apex HD+, model 339, has an SRP of 399.99 €. The camera is available in Black and White.  For additional information, visit
