Santa Rosa, CA ( May 8, 2013 -- The Liquid Image App now features a Video Trim Tool for quick mobile editing. This new feature is available for iOS and Android devices and works with the Liquid Image line of Wi-Fi enabled Action Cameras.

The new Video Trim Tool allows users to select the best portion of video from a file while on a smart phone or tablet. The highlights of the video can then be shared from a mobile device immediately following the recording, increasing the speed and ease at which social uploads may occur while away from a computer.

The trim slider is located just below the video window of the app. The user simply drags both ends to select the portion of video that they wish to share. The cropped portion can be downloaded to the mobile device for upload to websites. The full length original file will remain intact and available to the user from the micro SDHC card located inside the camera.

The Liquid Image App also includes the following features: Live View, Remote activation, Playback and Camera Settings. Camera setting controls include Exposure, Security, Video Mode, Photo resolution, White Balance, Zoom, Camera FOV, and Contrast. Additionally, the App displays information about the camera such as battery levels, memory used on Micro SDHC card, serial number, firmware level, mode and files recorded.

The app is available now on iTunes and Google Play for free under the name Liquid Image. Liquid Image Wi-Fi cameras currently include the Apex HD+, Ego, and Torque HD+.
