Who was the first person on the FBI’s Most Wanted list?

The first person to be placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list was Thomas James Holden, who was added on March 14, 1950. Holden was an armed robber operating in 4 states. He had been a fugitive since 1948, and his criminal background included rape, sodomy, and murder.

At the time, the FBI offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to Holden’s arrest. He was caught in Spanish Fork, Utah by a civilian who recognized Holden from one of the many wanted posters distributed by the FBI.

Holden was tried in the Utah State Supreme Court, where he was found guilty of murder after a trial that only lasted a single day. He was sentenced to life in prison and died in 1976. Holden’s placement on the FBI’s Most Wanted list was the start of a longstanding tradition of listing the country’s worst criminals.

Today, the list includes people suspected of a variety of federal crimes such as terrorism, organized crime, drug trafficking, white collar crime and gang violence.

Who betrayed the CIA?

The identity of the person who betrayed the CIA remains unknown. However, in 2014 documents were released that revealed that such an event did happen. The betrayal was made possible by an information leak known as “The Vault 7 Leak” which was released by WikiLeaks.

It contained documents related to various CIA hacking tools and techniques. The leak revealed details of the CIA’s ability to access electronic devices, such as computers and mobile phones, by exploiting security vulnerabilities in multiple communication systems.

This exposed the CIA’s tools and techniques, making them vulnerable to malicious actors. The Vault 7 documents also contained information about the CIA’s efforts to defeat encryption methods used in popularsoftware and operating systems, as well as their use of “zero-day exploits” (cyberattacks based on knowledge of a vulnerability before it is disclosed).

By making such information public, those behind The Vault 7 leak have effectively betrayed the CIA.
